This policy applies to Synesthesia (iOS, including SoundCam) and Synesthesia Vision (Apple Vision Pro).
Neither app requires an account. Neither app collects information that identifies you.
The videos you film or import with SoundCam, the music composed for them, the photos, sounds, words and notes in your diary, and their locations stay on your device. They are not uploaded to us or to anyone else. SoundCam's working files (the preview and the exported video) are kept in the app's temporary storage and deleted when you leave the result or start a new video.
To understand whether the app works for people, the iOS app sends anonymous counts of a few steps to our own server: for example "camera opened", "preview ready", "video exported", "share completed", "purchase completed". Each count can carry only a short, fixed label and rounded numbers, such as the clip length in seconds, the export resolution or whether the free signature was included, plus the app version and the platform.
The statistics never contain images, videos, audio, colors, notes, words, locations, file names, contacts, your Apple ID, an advertising identifier or any device or install identifier. Our server does not store your IP address. The counts cannot be linked to you and are not used for advertising or tracking. They are stored on infrastructure we control (hosted by Vercel and Turso) and kept for up to 24 months.
You can turn the statistics off at any time in the app: Menu → Anonymous statistics. Debug and test builds do not send them.
On iOS the camera is used to film short SoundCam videos, whose colors are analysed on the device to compose music, and to take the sound photos in your diary. SoundCam does not record sound: the microphone is never used. On Apple Vision Pro the passthrough camera is used through ARKit to read colors; no images are stored or transmitted.
The app reads only the video or image you choose to import, and writes to your Photo Library only when you choose to save.
If you allow it, the diary saves where a sound photo was taken, to show it on the map. Location stays on the device, is not included in exported backups and is never transmitted.
You decide what to share and where. What happens to shared content depends on the app or service you choose.
Synesthesia Vision uses spatial audio and may use hand tracking for interaction. Sensor data is processed on the device in real time and is never stored or transmitted.
The anonymous statistics rely on our legitimate interest in keeping the app working and useful (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)); you can object at any time with the switch above. Purchases are processed to perform the contract you enter with Apple.
You can delete your diary entries at any time from within the app. Deleting the app removes its data from the device, except Keychain items, which iOS keeps until the device is erased. Because the statistics contain no identifier, they cannot be traced back to a person or deleted per person.
The apps do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

I video che filmi o importi con SoundCam, la musica composta per loro, le foto, i suoni, le parole e le note del diario, e i luoghi associati restano sul tuo dispositivo. Non vengono caricati da noi né da altri. I file di lavoro di SoundCam (anteprima e video esportato) stanno nella memoria temporanea dell'app e vengono cancellati quando lasci il risultato o inizi un nuovo video.
Per capire se l'app funziona per le persone, l'app iOS invia al nostro server conteggi anonimi di alcuni passaggi: per esempio "fotocamera aperta", "anteprima pronta", "video esportato", "condivisione completata", "acquisto completato". Ogni conteggio può contenere solo un'etichetta breve e prestabilita e numeri arrotondati, come la durata della clip in secondi, la risoluzione dell'export o se è stata inclusa la firma gratuita, oltre alla versione dell'app e alla piattaforma.
Le statistiche non contengono mai immagini, video, audio, colori, note, parole, posizioni, nomi di file, contatti, il tuo ID Apple, identificativi pubblicitari né identificativi del dispositivo o dell'installazione. Il nostro server non salva il tuo indirizzo IP. I conteggi non possono essere collegati a te e non sono usati per pubblicità o tracciamento. Sono conservati su infrastruttura sotto il nostro controllo (ospitata da Vercel e Turso) per un massimo di 24 mesi.
Puoi disattivare le statistiche in qualsiasi momento nell'app: Menu → Statistiche anonime. Le versioni di debug e di test non le inviano.
Su iOS la fotocamera serve a filmare i brevi video di SoundCam, i cui colori vengono analizzati sul dispositivo per comporre la musica, e a scattare le foto sonore del diario. SoundCam non registra suoni: il microfono non viene mai usato. Su Apple Vision Pro la fotocamera passthrough viene usata tramite ARKit per leggere i colori; nessuna immagine viene salvata o trasmessa.
L'app legge solo il video o l'immagine che scegli di importare e scrive nella Libreria Foto solo quando scegli di salvare.
Se lo consenti, il diario salva il luogo di una foto sonora per mostrarlo sulla mappa. La posizione resta sul dispositivo, non è inclusa nei backup esportati e non viene mai trasmessa.
Decidi tu cosa condividere e dove. Cosa accade ai contenuti condivisi dipende dall'app o dal servizio che scegli.
Synesthesia Vision utilizza audio spaziale e può usare l'hand tracking per l'interazione. I dati dei sensori vengono elaborati sul dispositivo in tempo reale e non vengono mai salvati o trasmessi.
Le statistiche anonime si basano sul nostro legittimo interesse a mantenere l'app funzionante e utile (art. 6, par. 1, lett. f GDPR); puoi opporti in qualsiasi momento con l'interruttore indicato sopra. Gli acquisti sono trattati per eseguire il contratto che concludi con Apple.
Puoi cancellare le voci del diario in qualsiasi momento dall'app. Eliminando l'app ne rimuovi i dati dal dispositivo, tranne gli elementi del Portachiavi, che iOS conserva fino all'inizializzazione del dispositivo. Poiché le statistiche non contengono identificativi, non possono essere ricondotte a una persona né cancellate per singola persona.
Le app non raccolgono consapevolmente dati da minori di 13 anni.
